Montana De Oro
We went hiking today at Montana De Oro. We needed some fresh air before the rain came back in and went to look for shells. I am making picture frames and you can find some cool shells near the bluffs. Today i found some abalone and sea urchins. It was a little windy and Brad was tired so we didn't stay long. This was Layla's second time there. Jake was at school so it was only the three of us. It was a nice two hour hike. Layla loves to help find shells. There were two seagulls above us gliding in the wind. LOL thank god they didn't leave us a present. We were in Pismo last weekend and a seagull overhead gave a friend a present. rotflmao!
Layla's first swim lesson
Okay, I really do not know much about this website other than, My sister n law, does a really good job at her blog. My blog appears to be malfunctioning. .....................................................................
Layla had her first swim lesson at Five Cities Swim Club and is a Goldfish. We swam for 1/2 hour with the group. Layla learned how to do the hookie pookie, humpty dumpty, glide and all kinds other things. Daddy went to swim lesson with us. He was the only Daddy that attended the lesson :) Thank Goodness because Layla cried when she practiced swimming back and forth from mommy to the swim instructor. She was scared to leave mommy to a stranger. But when swimming back and forth with mommy and daddy, everything was okay. The swim club had a castle to practice swimming with and Layla loved it. She would just sit and dangle her legs. We stayed in the water for 1/2 hour after the lesson and practiced swimming. She is a natural like mommy and loves the water. Bt the end of the hour Layla was dog paddling. The swim club called her a little mermaid. BTW Layla is in her second bikini.

Holiday a nd 2009 Photos
Thank God, the holidays are over. Jake just got his driving permit and had his first lesson today. He loved it! He drove on the freeway and all around town. Only six more months of school. Layla is getting so big and learning new words. She loves to tell people hi and beginning to help put toys away. She also helps mommy take the dishes out of the dishwasher. Some of her words are cheese, spaz(the cat), quack-quack and bath. She doesn't like her swing anymore and likes to fall asleep in her bed listening to her music box. Bath time is still an all time favorite and she loves bananas. Brad and I are doing good. Work has slowed down for Brad at UPS now that the holidays are over. And I am still looking for work. Hopefully something good will come up soon.
